]]> Yeah...... it's prayers answered for Barrack Obama supporters tonight. The results for South Carolina Democratic Party vote are just out now!

.......and amazingly here is a message I just received from....... BARRACK HIMSELF!!

We've just won a big victory in South Carolina.

After four great contests in every corner of this country, and another record turnout today, we have the most votes, the most delegates, and the most diverse coalition of Americans we've seen in a long, long time.

More than 20 states will have their voices heard on February 5th, and we will need your help there, too.

I'll be heading down shortly to thank our supporters in South Carolina.

If you're reading this tonight, I hope you'll tune in at home so I can thank you, too.

Hillary Clinton Eyes on the Prize : Hackensack : NJ

]]> Sorry I've been a little lapse in posting..... I've been zapping around working like crazy..... it's a long story...... here is a picture from yesterday....... Hillary Clinton never lets the prospect of being President slip from her gaze for a second ....... she is here addressing a classic blue collar democrat audience in the NJ town of Hackensack ..... the Bergen County Chief of Police kept the crowd warmed up for sometime while they waited for Hillary to arrive..... she was seriously behind schedule.... The Police Chief was a classic local politician... amiable and grimly partisan to the last hair on his body..... but obviously having been told to say some inclusive welcoming words to try and steal from Barrak Obama's play book...... so it was an odd mix of "We are all proper Democrats and we look after our own!" full of hostility to others...... and..... "Oh by the way anyone who is here just to listen to Hillary to try and make up their open mind thats great.... and you are welcome" but there was just the slight feeling that if anyone actually said they were not part of the Hillary machine.... well they might not make it out of the car park in one piece.

Clooney honoured as UN Messenger of Peace : DC

]]> George Clooney has just been named a United Nations 'Messenger Of Peace' in honour of his humanitarian work. So I thought it was a good time to get out an old picture of him.... this one with Barrack Obama ....... at a press conference to attempt to change US foreign policy towards Sudan....

Clooney, who is a long-term campaigner on behalf of refugees in the Darfur region of Sudan, joins fellow actor Michael Douglas and musician Yo-Yo Ma in accepting the UN honor.

UN spokesman Michele Montas says: "(Clooney is being) recognised for focusing public attention on crucial international political and social issues."..... Which is code for raising awareness about the genocide in Darfur.

Clooney is actually away right now in Darfur.

Barrack meanwhile it seems is doing OK...... live out of my TV..... in the Democratic Party Presidential candidates debate South Carolina...... he managed to make funny generous remarks about Bill Clinton who has recently made the complete opposite remarks about him...... Ex President Bill has it seems lately made himself slightly humiliatingly Hillary's attack dog....... and another one from Obama that made me laugh was that he (Obama) was working with the homeless in Chicago while Hillary was a corporate lawyer on the board of WalMart...... ouch!

I was in the car........ it was fine to pretend........right up until Candice starts praising my commitment... as if I was out there running in the snow and ice with that woman runner of yesterday...... er...... I hardly got out of the car ... come on it was seriously mega cold and wet!!!!!!!!! hehehe

]]> Obama greets his ecstatic supporters after having given them an inspiring speech. it was crazy at the end. He is at least surrounded by a recently increased secret service presence.

Today he had Senator Kerry to endorse his candidacy not that of Hillary Clinton. Commentators think this is good news for him.... showing he is winning the party hierarchy to his cause..... I can't help the feeling that Kerry's support is the kiss of death.
